The Bare Minimum |
The manufacturer of contemporary designer lamps B.Lux takes a look back and adds to its catalogue a decorative lighting classic: the Blux System. Designed in 1981, this collection of lamps enjoyed great success on the international market, especially in the US, in the early 80s, when the designs of Arne Jacobsen and Richard Sapper turned the flexo into a hallmark of the most important manufacturers.
In the case of B.lux, the Blux System marked a turning point in its product strategy, as it took firm strides towards the manufacturing of contemporary designer lamps. Today nostalgia and market trends have spurred B.lux to once again produce the Blux System, using the same artisanal processes.
The Blux System family is made up of a range of lamps: two table, two floor, one suspension, and six wall models. These are adjustable lamps, thanks their ball joints, allowing for smooth and balanced movement. Their design features sober lines in the style of the English school. The Blux System is sold in black, red and beige finishes. They stand out for being easy to handle and for their minimal volume, as they are foldable.
The Blux System belongs to the collection of decorative lamps by B.lux, a manufacturer of designer lighting since 1980.
