Francesco Paretti
Born in Terni, Francesco Paretti graduated in Industrial Design at the University of Rome "La Sapienza". He collaborated as a consultant in regards to design and production processes for "Pietro Beretta S.p.A", "Poltronova", "Radiomarelli S.p.A.", "Arc.hi.tech.". He has designed products for various firms either independently or together with important designers and stylists such as Stefano Giovannoni, Anna Gili, Gai Mattiolo and others. In 1997 and 1998 he won the goldsmith's award "San Valentino Oro" (San Valentino Gold) and in 2003 the international design competition "Aprilia Design Prize 2002" (The Scooter of the Future). He has taught at the "G.B. Cignaroli" Polytechnic of Arts in Verona and the "L.U.D.I." Department of industrial Design, University "La Sapienza", Rome. He currently teaches Industrial Design at the "IED" of ROME. His works have been displayed at numerous design exhibitions.
