With his suspension lamp NUVOLA, Mario Bellini pioneered the modern trend in illuminating objects made of plastic. With great insight and creativity he designed a floating mass of light that is capable of shedding light effectively yet unobtrusively. Designed in 1974 for the launch campaign of “Pianeta Ufficio"" - the office furniture system by Mario Bellini for Marcatrè - the lamp has been revisited in terms of size and is now produced on an industrial scale by Nemo.
